JOB DESCRIPTION
DIG CREW LABORER

Southeast Connections, LLC is a contractor specializing in energy infrastructure serving the natural gas industry. Our offerings include transmission pipeline construction, metering facilities, horizontal directional drilling, pipeline integrity management, steel and plastic distribution and other specialty services to industries across the Eastern United States.

Dig Crew Laborer – Sewer Camera Group
The Dig Crew Laborer will verify the location of gas and sewer lines by excavation to insure that the facilities are undamaged. In the event that a damage is found, the Dig Crew Laborer will repair and/or move the lines so that they are fully operational.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Excavation  and jack hammering, post hole digging, hand digging, concrete saw cutting lifting materials
• Keeping tools and equipment clean
• Locate gas lines


Education & Work Experience
Minimum Requirements:
• Able to perform physical tasks and work outdoors (lift 60lbs)
• Clean driving record
• Able to work and communicate effectively in written form, e-mail, or in person with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Takes personal responsibility for the quality and presentation of work
• Maintains a positive attitude, professionalism and discretion at all times to all levels of the organization
• Able to support a dynamic project environment with time-driven deadlines
• Must be able to travel for extended periods of time to assigned project(s)


Preferred:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with utility work
