Job Title: Document Control Administrator 

Reports to: Document Control Supervisor

Location: Greensboro, NC                                                                               

 

JOB PURPOSE: The Document Control Administrator provides temporary administrative support for verifying sub contractor invoices against daily reporting documents to ensure revenue is accurately captured.  This position will analyze and audit data based on customer and internal feedback, and assist with department tasks and projects. This role will also interface and need to build solid relationships with select customers, subcontractors, and vendors.   

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY:

 

  • Research sub-contractor costs through Metaviewer and Dynamics portals
  • Assist in researching revenue and work in progress regarding sub-contractor work
  • Communicate with external customers through DocuSign, phone, and email
  • Capturing critical metrics through documentation for multiple departments
  • Produce weekly reports for internal management and external customers
  • Create reports and track revenue impacting metrics
  • Assist Document Control Supervisor with documentation of new procedures and processes
  • Track documentation training for field employees
  • Cultivate strong relationships with all depts within the organization and regarding neighboring depts as internal customers & acting accordingly
  • Assist with maintaining document retention policies
  • Assist with projects and customer commitments

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

 

 

Education                           

Required: High School Diploma

Preferred: Business degree or certificate with concentrations in business management

Experience

 

Preferred: 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in the construction industry

Possess strong written and oral communicative & problem-solving skills, 2+ years in customer service, NC811, Maximo, AR or AP experience

Knowledge/

Skills

Required: Able to work and communicate effectively in written form, over the phone, or in person with all levels of the company and customer. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Possess moderate MS Excel and MS Word skills.  Must be detailed orientated and be able to multi-task accurately as well as adept at meeting deadlines.
